Pre Qualified Contractors
Public works. As part of the requirement of government departments, pre-qualified contractors must be audited by an accredited auditor to ensure they have a safety management system in place.
The audit consists of a number of stages, including initial /document review, review of project plans, and on-site inspections. Accredited auditors have strict reporting arrangements and deadlines and are required to issue non-conformance notices where high-risk activities are identified.
