Confined space entry/monitoring
We offer training to cover topics essential for entrants to obtain a confined space entry permit. Trainees learn about potential hazards specific to confined spaces.
Trainees also learn about provincial and federal regulations, proper entry and exit procedures, documentation, and confined space roles & responsibilities.
Atmospheric Gas Monitoring
We monitor various gases for:
- Personal protection against explosions
- Facility-wide site protection against explosions
- Environmental protection against environmental degradation, such as oil leaks and acid gas emissions.
- Protection against process errors in industrial settings
Safety Data Sheet review and recommendations
We assist in checking the accuracy of controls based on products’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS), update SDS as needed, and keep the appropriate records according to current regulations.
Safety watch
We train safety watches to keep the workers who clean, inspect and repair tanks, vessels, and equipment safe by teaching the safety watches how to:
- How to identify a hazardous atmosphere
- Regularly test for hazardous gases.
- Keeping their eyes on workers working in “confined spaces”.
- Monitor the supply of “breathing air” from pressurized air systems.
- Ensuring fires don’t spark up from hot work activities.
